Japan tsunami and online jobs

Japan was struck by a very devastating tsunami due to a very intense earthquake last Friday. Saying that it was a sad event is not enough, because it is not just sad. It was terrible. It was horrible.

Saturday and Sunday came. News about what's going on in Japan after the tragedy were something everybody is raving about.

I was home finishing some articles needed to be done. I see the news at yahoo mail about Japan. My heart ached so much. I wish I can do more than just read the news. I prayed for the Japanese people and all the people who were there.

Some people think, and I was asked lots of times about this, that people who works on line are people with poor social skills. Think again. Most people I know who works and/or have online businesses are the people who have lots of true friends, busy with community services, assertive on promoting events that are centered on the welfare humanity.

Thinking about this, come to think of it, we have the power at our fingertips to bring latest news at the fastest, most effective and most powerful means today - the internet. And bet you, we have the power to also generate help using this tool.

So, think again. Is an online job/work from home really boring and selfish? An online job is so much more than that.

  1. Definitely agree to your article and belief ms. Janny! One main reason of me going for a VA career is what you also mentioned.. its the desire to do more things that are mostly eaten by a full-time career, like time for the family, time to do service for others, and most important and impractically undeniable as well is time for oneself.. we can give more if we are able to cultivate and balance all aspects in our lives.

Its great to have a mentor who believes in the same advocate! Continue giving us the inspiration to succeed, and to succeed along with others :) God bless you more! :)
